Ambos escribimos\u00a0<em style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px;border: 0px;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;font-size: inherit;line-height: inherit;font-family: inherit;vertical-align: baseline\">Federalismo y reforma social<\/em>\u00a0(1840-1873), que deber\u00eda seguir siendo de consulta \u00fatil para especialistas como Juanjo Soloz\u00e1bal, que en su magn\u00edfico an\u00e1lisis\u00a0<em style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px;border: 0px;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;font-size: inherit;line-height: inherit;font-family: inherit;vertical-align: baseline\">Pensamiento federal espa\u00f1ol y otros estudios auton\u00f3micos<\/em>\u00a0(Justel, 2019) prescinde de los antecedentes hist\u00f3ricos del federalismo, que iluminan la g\u00e9nesis, el significado y el fracaso hasta hoy de la corriente federal en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 2.188rem;padding: 0px;border: 0px;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;font-size: inherit;line-height: inherit;font-family: inherit;vertical-align: baseline\">Las secuelas de un episodio izquierdista de los setenta, el juicio cr\u00edtico organizado por nuestra joya mao\u00edsta, el Camarada Intxausti \u2014respetemos el alias del futuro pol\u00edtico socialista\u2014, truncaron su carrera acad\u00e9mica durante 20 a\u00f1os. Sigui\u00f3 ense\u00f1ando, militando e investigando. Con especial acierto en el libro elaborado desde los a\u00f1os noventa,\u00a0<a style=\"text-decoration: none;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;border: 0px;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;font-size: inherit;line-height: inherit;font-family: inherit;vertical-align: baseline;color: #016ca2;background-color: transparent\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tecnos.es\/ficha.php?id=5342136&amp;id_clase=219205\">que ahora se publica<\/a>. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de su t\u00edtulo, se trata de un estudio de grandes pensadores, atendiendo a las recomendaciones de D\u00edez del Corral, sobre un tel\u00f3n de fondo marxista. Lo expresa el subt\u00edtulo: \u2018El cambio de visi\u00f3n de Bodino a Hobbes\u2019, reconstruyendo mediante el an\u00e1lisis comparativo una trayectoria en la cual figuran Altusio y el jesuita Su\u00e1rez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0px 0px 2.188rem;padding: 0px;border: 0px;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;font-size: inherit;line-height: inherit;font-family: inherit;vertical-align: baseline\">El minucioso an\u00e1lisis sobre estos pensadores, que sobre todo en el caso de Bodino figuran como heraldos de modernidad por la idea de soberan\u00eda, permite a Tr\u00edas concluir que existe una divisoria de radical importancia entre quienes de un modo o de otro representan formas de pensamiento derivadas de las concepciones filos\u00f3fico-pol\u00edticas medievales, y Hobbes, cuyo individualismo posesivo, cimiento de su opci\u00f3n absolutista, prefigura la concepci\u00f3n del Estado y de las relaciones econ\u00f3micas que m\u00e1s tarde est\u00e1n en la base de la sociedad burguesa. Es una apuesta arriesgada, ya que plantea la existencia de posiciones ideol\u00f3gicas que desde una de las crisis del antiguo r\u00e9gimen, anteriores a 1789, la de la revoluci\u00f3n inglesa del siglo XVII, anticipan los fundamentos del futuro desarrollo capitalista y del Estado liberal. Algo que tocar\u00e1 m\u00e1s tarde, siempre desde la crisis inglesa, desarrollar a Locke, y que sin duda Tr\u00edas hubiera abordado de sobrevivir para ello. Tal como lo contemplaban desde distintos \u00e1ngulos \u2014perfectamente delimitados en el libro, incluso sobre la excepci\u00f3n de Altusio\u2014, el absolutismo supon\u00eda un fortalecimiento del orden socioecon\u00f3mico sobre el cual se sustentaba la llamada sociedad del antiguo r\u00e9gimen. Abundan los apartados de excepcional lucidez: destacar\u00edamos el que funde en un tratamiento comparativo a Bodino, Su\u00e1rez y Altusio sobre el entramado de vida social en tanto que fundamento de la idea del Estado como comunidad autosuficiente. Prueba de la calidad de su aproximaci\u00f3n metodol\u00f3gica. Tal vez cabr\u00eda sugerir que en Su\u00e1rez la pr\u00e1ctica de la idea de la potestad eclesi\u00e1stica apuntaba a la Iglesia como instituci\u00f3n, concreta en cada pa\u00eds, y no solo al Papa. En cualquier caso, la ruptura auroral de Hobbes, seg\u00fan prueba exhaustivamente Tr\u00edas, inaugura una nueva \u00e9poca.<\/p>\n<section id=\"sumario_1|fototextos\" class=\"sumario
