American Philosophical Association"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apaonline.org\/group\/gsc\">Graduate Student Council<\/a>\n (GSC) of the APA recognizes that the pandemic has significantly \nimpacted graduate students, who, in many cases, are facing the \ndifficulties of being both teachers and students during these trying \ntimes. In support of the graduate student community, members of the GSC \nhave created <em>The COVID Chronicles<\/em>, a new special section of the \nBlog of the APA dedicated to amplifying the voices of graduate students \nas we navigate the challenges brought on by these unprecedented times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The COVID Chronicles<\/em> is a space for graduate students to come \ntogether, to connect, to share, to listen, to reflect, to empathize, to \nlament, and to learn from one another. We also hope faculty and \nadministrators will listen to the hopes, fears, and needs articulated in\n these posts, and act in ways to help support the graduate student \ncommunity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage graduate students to submit short posts (approximately \n500 words) reflecting upon their experiences during the course of the \npandemic. Posts can take on a number of formats: they can include \nadvice, cautionary tales, reflections on personal experiences, stories \nof growth and overcoming, calls for feedback and support, analyses of \nsystematic problems, and more.
