Call For PAPERS: The utopia of Basic Income

17^th-18^th November 2016

 

Within the context of the celebration of the 500^th anniversary of Thomas Moore’s Utopia, we invite papers for a conference concerning the utopia of Basic Income on 17^th November. Our aim is to think about Basic Income as a utopian project capable of dealing with the challenges of our present political context. Papers should explore, among other topics, the emancipatory potential of BI, critical arguments against BI and restraints on its application.
