CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
In the context of my ICREA Acadèmia distinction (humanities) I seek to hire
Professora associada/professor associat for 3 to 4 basic courses per year in logic at the Philosophy Department of the University of Barcelona with a minor additional contract for research activities. The courses are mainly at the undergraduate philosophy level but involvement in our Master in Pure and Applied Logic can also be considered.
The position starts September 2023, is initially for one year and can be extended up to five years.
Since the contract is part of a research project the ideal candidate will start a PhD with me and currently does not yet have a scholarship so that this position can be used as a starting point until a scholarship is obtained.

Although the ideal candidate indeed starts a PhD with me, I am also open to other constructions and proposals so general expressions of interests are welcomed too.
Working requirements: Language proficiency in English and at least one of Catalan or Spanish. Preferably a related master but excellent undergrad applications may be considered too. Spanish identification number (DNI or NIE).
