PHYSIS: the Analytic Metaphysics Research Group at Complutense University of Madrid invite you to attend the PHYSIS Winter Lectures in Analytic Metaphysics 2020 to be given by Kit Fine on the topic of truthmaker semantics.
Lecture One: What is Truthmaker Semantics?
A general introduction to truthmaker semantics and a comparison with possible worlds semantics.
Lecture Two: Containment
The notion of content containment and its application to partial truth and verisimilitude.
Lecture Three: Iperatives and Deontics
The application of truthmaker semantics to imperative and deontic logic.
Lecture Four: Conditionals
Truthmaker semantics for the intuitionistic conditional, which is then used as a model for other forms of the conditional.
